Some of the guidelines for burning in the Village that must be followed are:

- Only piles of dry tumbleweeds may be burned.

- Piles must not be larger than three feet high by three feet wide.

- Fire Extinguishing equipment such as a water hose and/or a shovel and dirt must be readily available at the area of burning.

- Burning areas must be fifty feet away from structures and/or combustibles.

- Fire must be attended at all times.

- If the wind exceeds fifteen (15) MPH the fire must be immediately extinguished.
