The Village is served by Albuquerque Public Schools (APS).
There are two middle schools (Taft and Taylor), and one elementary school (Los Ranchos Elementary) in the Village. In addition, there are two other elementary schools (Alameda and Alvarado), three high schools (Cibola, Valley and Del Norte), and a Charter School (Horizon Academy), grades (Kindergarten through 9th Grade) which serve this area.

Taft Middle School and Valley High School are side-by-side program sites.
Taylor Middle School is a magnet school emphasizing health and fitness in their curriculum.
Valley High School, which serves the majority of the area, is home to the Valley Academy, a cooperative program designed to increase the percentage of its graduates that go on to colleges and universities. Valley was one of the first schools in the nation to adopt this program.
