The
Village has a mayor-council form of government. The council, known
as the Board of Trustees, is a four member body that is selected
at large. The Trustees serve four-year staggered terms, with two
seats on the Board up for election
every two years. The Mayor is elected once every four years.
The
Village Hall hosts regular Trustee
Meetings (2nd Wednesday of each month), special informational
or regulatory meetings, Planning and Zoning
meetings, public hearings, and many community
events (Growers'
Market, Los Ranchos Arts and Crafts Market,
4th of July Celebration, and
Easter Egg Hunt).
HOURS OF OPERATION
In an effort to better serve the public, the Village's hours of operation are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (except for Tuesdays when the office will open at approximately 9:00 am after the weekly staff meeting). We
hope this will improve service for those people who drop by on their
lunch hour.
Appointments
can be made by calling 344-6582 during regular office hours.
Onsite
